I like to call this one my "Everything By the Kitchen Sink" shake because I put SOOOOO much in it that it makes my life easier if I just leave it all out on the kitchen counter. I have a 'shake corner' in my kitchen. (I show you at the end of the video.) Most people would FREAK out to put this much in their shake. I mean look at this: I take about an hour to actually drink this. Rob, downs his before I can finish blending mine, but I cannot get that all down that quick. So when you see over 800 calories and all that food in there remember I'm taking my sweet time drinking this thing. Also, I only mention calories and show you my fitness pal because I think you may care. Remember, I'm NOT a calorie counter. In fact had I had an avocado I would have even added that and that shake would have weighed in close to 1000 calories. Don't care. It's all stuff my body loves and needs. So check out the video and let me know what questions you have that I can answer. I've given you a breakdown of the products I put in there in case you're interested in any or all. Check that out below. Product Breakdown (items are linked so you can go check them out): Chocolate Keto Shake (Metagenics): This is a staple in our house. I use this to make keto pancakes, fat bombs and more. Sometimes I'll have a shake in the afternoon with just unsweet almond milk and this if I'm having an afternoon chocolate craving. But honestly, that doesn't happen too often anymore. For those committed to a ketogenic lifestyle this is a delicious and convenient way to get 20 grams of fat, 18 grams of protein and 9 grams of carbs per serving. Ketogenic Shake also offers 5 grams of medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) per serving and 25 essential vitamins and minerals. It’s fast, easy, and ideal as a meal replacement or pre/post workout snack. Comes in chocolate and vanilla. Ketogenic Collagen:(Metagenics) I love this new product from Metagenics! It's formulated to exclude dairy, lactose, soy, wheat, gluten, and is keto- and paleo-friendly. Not only does it have a 70:20:10 ratio of fat, protein, and carbohydrates, it also contains predominantly grass-fed and pasture-raised collagen peptides types I and III to support skin, nails, bones, and joint health.* Features MCTs for a convenient, multifaceted approach to a ketogenic lifestyle. Comes in chocolate, vanilla, and naked. I have the naked so I can add it to different things without flavoring. MCT Oil:(Metagenics) I also put MCT oil in my coffee each morning. Hit that in the blender for a sec and you have a frothy, flavorful, healthy fat way to start your day (also great for the brain first thing in the morning....and your blood sugar too.) I'll admit, I was seriously skeptical, as you'll see in the video, but I have seen a change in my joints. After years of teaching more classes than one should I have a bit of joint pain from overdoing it. This is helping a good bit. Health benefits:
Swiss Cacao Ketones: (Pruvit) I love my ketones! I love all the flavors but put chocolate in my shake. For someone who struggles to stay focused these babies have been nothing short of life-changing. Supplementing with exogenous ketones allows you to experience ketosis - the benefits of elevated blood ketone levels, without having to follow such a restrictive ketogenic diet, or super low carb diet, which is often difficult for some people to adhere to. 20% off your first online order of Metagenics & FREE shipping always!Intersted in Ketones? |
